Olds has composed music for films, television, and video games, including The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, and the video game The Last of Us. He has also composed music for television shows such as The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. Olds is also the lead singer and guitarist of the band Olds Sleeper, which has released two albums, The Great Divide and The Great Divide II.
