Zufer Avdija is a Kosovar politician and former Prime Minister of Kosovo. He was born in Pristina, Kosovo, and graduated from the University of Pristina with a degree in economics. He was a member of the Kosovo Assembly from 1990 to 1999, and served as Prime Minister from 1998 to 1999. Avdija is a member of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and was a member of the Kosovo Transitional Council from 1999 to 2000. He was also a member of the Kosovo Assembly from 2000 to 2004. Avdija is married and has two children. He is an avid reader and enjoys playing chess. He is also a passionate advocate for the rights of the Kosovar people.
