By the end of 2011 Wendy had a national commercial for University of Phoenix, was featured in an episode for Workout Wednesday's on EXTRA with Mario Lopez, and a music video with Tyga all under her belt. To top off the year Wendy was cast in a TV pilot for LAtinos a Spanish novela as one of the lead actresses, Nadine.

Wendy Alcala is a professional Model and Actress with over 9 years of experience in modeling for editorial, glamour, beauty and runway along with acting in commercial, TV, and film. Wendy attended her first modeling and acting course when she was 11 years old in Beverly Hills, CA. Wendy's first TV appearance was on a Spanish show on Telemundo named, 12 Corazones. Wendy landed her first hosting gig at age 17 on KBBC for a show called Launch Pad where she introduced and interviewed signed and unsigned bands in the LA/OC county area. By 19 years of age Wendy had worked runway shows for the Art Institute North Hollywood and international hair company, Goldwell. Along with runway, Wendy has also modeled for Dany Sanz in a Makeup Forever Workshop held in Los Angeles, CA. In 2010 Wendy became the spokes model for Elizabeth Alcala's 2011 Fall/Winter collection.
