Vasili Berezutski is a Russian professional footballer who plays as a centre back for CSKA Moscow. He is the twin brother of Aleksei Berezutski, who also plays for CSKA Moscow. Vasili was born on 20 June 1982 in the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. He began his career with CSKA Moscow in 2000, and has since made over 500 appearances for the club. He has won the Russian Premier League five times, the Russian Cup four times, and the Russian Super Cup three times. Vasili has also represented Russia at international level, making his debut in 2004. He has since gone on to make over 70 appearances for the national team, and was part of the squad that reached the semi-finals of the 2008 UEFA European Championship. Vasili is married to his wife, Anastasia, and they have two children together. He is 38 years old and has an estimated net worth of $10 million.
