Terje Krokstad is a Norwegian biathlete who was born on 1 October, 1956. He is best known for his success in the Biathlon World Cup, where he won a total of four medals, including two golds. He also competed in the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, where he finished in fourth place in the 20 km individual event. Krokstad began his career in biathlon in 1975, and competed in his first World Cup in 1979. He won his first medal in 1981, a bronze in the 20 km individual event. He went on to win two gold medals in the 20 km individual event in 1983 and 1984, and a silver medal in the 10 km sprint in 1984. Krokstad retired from biathlon in 1988, and since then has worked as a coach and a commentator for the sport. He is currently the head coach of the Norwegian biathlon team. Krokstad is married and has two children. He currently lives in Oslo, Norway.
