After graduating, he moved to New York City and began performing with a variety of jazz musicians, including Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, and Wynton Marsalis. Davis has released several albums as a leader, including Portraits and Reflections (1996), Live at the Village Vanguard (1998), and Update (2000).
