At age sixteen, Clara starred in Unseen Gardens (2020), a film by first-timer Stefan Cavillo. The beautiful, raw, short film chronicles her character, Vera, who struggles with the aftermath of her best friend Eiffel's death (who is played by Mina Gardi).

During this time, she also wrapped a lead role by low-budget production group Amulet, in their cinematic debut, Emmaline (2020).

" Clara Cavill's first short and student films included award-winning Alexa Samaniego's Another Like, and Kaylin Endsley's artistic anthology called, The Youth Are Dancing (2019), among others. She found most early work in art-house and independent projects.

Counts the feature films Atonement (2007), The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), and Little Women (2019) as some of her favorites.

Clara Cavill was born on June 29, 2003, in Mountain View, California. She was born to her Romanian mother, and British-American father, the oldest of two children. She was brought up in the Bay Area, and lived there until she was fourteen years old, when her family moved to Los Angeles. Her interest in Drama came very early on. Clara played roles in theatre from Helen of Troy from "Iliad and the Odyssey", to Eponine Thenardiér in "Les Misérables". She embarked in classical training from prestige drama institutions in London, England, soon thereafter. It was not a surprise, that after praise and encouragement from her peers and tutors that she transferred her work to the silver-screen, finding "[her] true passion.

In the extended short, Cavill plays young Emma Brookmore, a girl who navigates her way through the 1920s; an auspicious connectivity of women's suffrage, the prohibition, and the jazz age. Both of the projects were pitched for film festivals. Shortly after turning seventeen, Clara was cast in a small supporting role by Grammy-nominated DJ and brother of Spike Jonze, Sam I (A. K. A Sam Spiegel).
