Sisqó is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, record producer, and actor. He is best known for his 1999 single "Thong Song". He is also the lead singer of the R&B group Dru Hill. Sisqó was born on November 9, 1978, in Baltimore, Maryland. He began his career as a member of the R&B group Dru Hill, which he joined in 1992. The group released their self-titled debut album in 1996, which spawned the hit singles "In My Bed" and "Never Make a Promise". In 1999, Sisqó released his debut solo album, Unleash the Dragon, which featured the hit single "Thong Song". The single was a massive success, reaching number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming a worldwide hit. Sisqó has since released two more solo albums, Return of Dragon (2001) and Last Dragon (2015). He has also appeared in several films, including Get Over It (2001) and Juwanna Mann (2002).
