Shane Keegan is an Irish football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of Galway United in the League of Ireland First Division. He has previously managed Wexford Youths and Longford Town. Keegan began his playing career with Portlaoise in the Leinster Senior League. He then moved to the League of Ireland with Longford Town in 2002. He made over 100 appearances for the club before moving to Wexford Youths in 2006. He made over 100 appearances for the club before retiring in 2011. Keegan began his managerial career with Wexford Youths in 2011. He led the club to promotion to the League of Ireland Premier Division in 2014. He left the club in 2015 and was appointed manager of Longford Town in 2016. He left the club in 2018 and was appointed manager of Galway United in 2019. Keegan has also worked as a coach with the Republic of Ireland U17 and U19 teams.
