Seth Neiman is an American musician, songwriter, and producer. He is best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the band The Eels. He has also released several solo albums and collaborated with other artists. Neiman was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, and grew up in nearby Wellsville. He attended the University of Cincinnati, where he studied music and composition. After college, he moved to Los Angeles and began playing in various bands. In 1995, Neiman formed The Eels with drummer Butch Norton and bassist Tommy Walter. The band released their debut album, Beautiful Freak, in 1996. The album was a critical and commercial success, and spawned the hit single "Novocaine for the Soul". The band has since released several more albums, including Electro-Shock Blues (1998), Daisies of the Galaxy (2000), and Blinking Lights and Other Revelations (2005). Neiman has also released several solo albums, including Songs from the Hydrogen Jukebox (2001) and The Loom (2008). He has also collaborated with other artists, including Beck, R.E.M., and The Flaming Lips. As of 2021, Seth Neiman's net worth is estimated to be roughly $2 million.

Neiman formed Flying Lizard Motorsports team in 2003. In 2005, he competed in the ALMS GT2 class for the Porsche team as well as finishing third in GT2 class in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He finished 4th at Le Mans the following year and finished 9th in ALMS GT2 points for the same team in 2006. He also drove in four SCCA World Challenge races in the Touring Car class.

In 1994, he joined the venture capital firm Crosspoint Venture Partners, and becoming a general partner before departing. In 1995, he founded Brocade Communications Systems. Neiman served as a lead investor and board member of various broadband computer networking companies, including Foundry Networks, Avanex, iPass, Shoreline, Juniper Networks, and NexPrise.

Neiman was a system architect at Maxitron Corporation in Marin County during the mid-1980s, and then Vice President of Product Development at Dahlgren Control Systems in San Francisco. In 1988, he became Vice President of Product Development for the TOPS Division of Sun Microsystems, that was developing the TOPS network file server system.
