Stine was born in Chardon, Ohio, and grew up in the nearby town of Burton. She attended the Cleveland Institute of Art, where she earned a BFA in sculpture in 2003. After graduating, she moved to New York City and began working as a sculptor and installation artist. Stine's work often explores themes of transformation, mortality, and the power of nature. She has created large-scale sculptures and installations out of materials such as wood, metal, and stone. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times, Artforum, and Art in America. Stine currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She is represented by the Marianne Boesky Gallery in New York.
