Paul Abrahams is a British musician, songwriter, and producer. He was born on 21 October 1958 in London, England. He is best known for his work with the band The Stranglers, which he joined in 1977. Abrahams began his musical career in the early 1970s, playing in various bands in the London area. He joined The Stranglers in 1977, replacing founding member Hugh Cornwell. He wrote and co-wrote several songs for the band, including "Golden Brown" and "Always the Sun". He left the band in 1990 and went on to pursue a solo career. Abrahams has released several solo albums, including "Songs from the Big Chair" (1995), "The Lost Album" (1998), and "The Last of the Gentleman Adventurers" (2003).
