Patrick Bowden is an Australian rules footballer who currently plays for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was born on 4 August 1981 in Australia. Bowden began his career in the AFL in 2002, when he was drafted by the Melbourne Football Club with the number 11 pick in the 2002 AFL Draft. He made his debut in Round 1 of the 2003 AFL season and went on to play a total of 101 games for the Demons, including the 2006 AFL Grand Final. Bowden was traded to the Western Bulldogs at the end of the 2008 season, where he played a further 39 games. He retired from the AFL at the end of the 2011 season. Bowden is currently the head coach of the Melbourne University Football Club in the Victorian Amateur Football Association. As of 2021, Patrick Bowden's net worth is estimated to be around $1 million.

In the 1999 National AFL Draft, Bowden was a fourth-round selection (no. 58 overall) to the Western Bulldogs. With limited opportunities at the Bulldogs, he was traded at the end of the 2005 AFL season to the Richmond Football Club in return for the 55th pick in the 2005 AFL Draft, which the Bulldogs used to select Brett Montgomery.
