O.J. Simpson is an American former professional football player, broadcaster, actor, and convicted felon. He was born on July 9, 1947 in San Francisco, California. He attended the University of Southern California, where he played college football for the USC Trojans and won the Heisman Trophy in 1968. He then played professionally in the NFL for 11 seasons, primarily with the Buffalo Bills. Simpson was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1983 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985. After retiring from football, he began new careers in acting and football broadcasting. In 1994, Simpson was arrested and charged with the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. He was acquitted of the crime, but was later found liable for their deaths in a civil trial. In 2008, Simpson was sentenced to 33 years in prison for armed robbery and kidnapping. He was released on parole in 2017. As of 2021, O.J. Simpson's net worth is estimated to be $3 million.
