Nicolas Douchez is a French former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He was born on 22 April, 1980 in Rosny-sous-Bois, France. He began his career with hometown club CSF Brétigny in 1997, before joining Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain in 2000. He made his professional debut for the club in 2002, and went on to make over 100 appearances for the club over the next seven years. In 2009, Douchez joined Rennes, where he made over 100 appearances in four seasons. He then moved to Toulouse in 2013, before joining Ligue 2 side Valenciennes in 2015. He retired from professional football in 2017, after making over 300 appearances in the French top flight. Douchez was capped by France at under-21 level, and was part of the squad that won the 2002 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. He was also part of the French squad that won the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup. As of 2021, Nicolas Douchez's net worth is estimated to be around $2 million.

In July 2018, Douchez signed for Red Star F.C., newly promoted to Ligue 2.
In July 2016, free agent Douchez signed a three-year contract with Ligue 2 side RC Lens.
In 2011 Douchez signed for Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer from Rennes. He was given the number 1 jersey for the upcoming season. Although he was initially expected to be the starter, this changed following the arrival of new club management, which recruited Salvatore Sirigu, who instead became the team's starting goalkeeper. Douchez played in the club's 2–1 victory over Lyon in the 2014 Coupe de la Ligue Final on 19 April 2014. After the arrival of Kevin Trapp, Douchez became third goalkeeper.
On 1 October 2009, Douchez was called up to France manager Raymond Domenech's 23-man squad for 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Faroe Islands and Austria.
