Milt Taylor was an American actor who was best known for his roles in the films The Big Sleep (1946) and The Big Heat (1953). He was born on July 6, 1894 in Appleton, Outagamie, Wisconsin. He began his career in the theater, appearing in productions such as The Cat and the Fiddle and The Front Page. He made his film debut in the 1933 film The Big Broadcast of 1933. He went on to appear in over 50 films throughout his career. Taylor was married to actress Mary Astor from 1933 to 1936. He died on April 28, 1975 in Los Angeles, California at the age of 80.
