Mike Veisor is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Rangers, and Detroit Red Wings. He was born on August 25, 1952 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Veisor played junior hockey with the Toronto Marlboros of the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) from 1969 to 1971. He was drafted by the Maple Leafs in the first round, 11th overall, in the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Maple Leafs during the 1972–73 season. Veisor played in the NHL for seven seasons, appearing in a total of 437 games. He scored a total of 33 goals and added 79 assists for 112 points. He also played in the World Hockey Association (WHA) for the Indianapolis Racers during the 1975–76 season. Veisor retired from professional hockey in 1979. He currently resides in Toronto, Ontario. His son, Michael David Veisor, Jr., was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft (12th round, 263rd overall). Mike, Jr. is a former college and minor-league goaltender, but he never played in the NHL.

Veisor was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and is Jewish. As a youth, he played in the 1965 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Toronto. He was drafted in Round 3 (#45 overall) in the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft. He started his National Hockey League career with the Chicago Black Hawks in 1973. He was the second Jewish goalie in NHL history. He had wanted to be the first, but he was preceded by Ross Brooks.
