Mike Levenseller is a former American football player and coach. He played college football at Washington State University and professionally in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was the head football coach at Washington State from 1987 to 1988 and at Eastern Washington University from 1989 to 1998, compiling a career college football coaching record of 73–63–1. Levenseller was born on February 21, 1956 in Bremerton, Washington. He attended Bremerton High School, where he was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball, and baseball. He then attended Washington State University, where he played wide receiver for the Cougars from 1975 to 1978. He was a two-time All-Pac-10 selection and was named the team's most valuable player in 1978. Levenseller began his coaching career as an assistant at Washington State in 1979. He then served as an assistant at the University of Idaho from 1980 to 1986. In 1987, he was named the head coach at Washington State, where he compiled a record of 8–14–1 in two seasons. In 1989, he was hired as the head coach at Eastern Washington University, where he compiled a record of 65–49–0 in ten seasons. Levenseller was inducted into the Washington State University Athletic Hall of Fame in 1992 and the Eastern Washington University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002.
