Mickey Curry is an American drummer and percussionist who has been active in the music industry since the late 1970s. He is best known for his work with the band Hall & Oates, as well as his collaborations with other artists such as Bryan Adams, Eric Clapton, and Tears for Fears. Curry was born in New Haven, Connecticut, and began playing drums at the age of nine. He attended the University of Hartford's Hartt School of Music, where he studied jazz and classical percussion. After graduating, he moved to New York City and began working as a session musician. In the early 1980s, Curry joined Hall & Oates as their touring drummer. He has since toured and recorded with the band on numerous occasions. He has also worked with a variety of other artists, including Bryan Adams, Eric Clapton, Tears for Fears, and many others. Curry has released several solo albums, including his debut album, Mickey Curry (1985), and his most recent album, The Big Picture (2015).
