Hann began playing drums at the age of 12 and was soon playing in local bands. He went on to study music at the University of Westminster and then joined The Cooper Temple Clause in 1999. The band released three albums and toured extensively before splitting in 2007. Since then, Hann has worked as a producer and session musician, working with artists such as The Vaccines, The Maccabees, and The Horrors. He has also released solo material under the name 'Hann'. Hann is currently based in London and is working on a new solo album. He is also a member of the band 'The Big Pink'. As of 2021, Matthew Hann's net worth is estimated to be around $1 million.
