He represented his country in the discus at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro without qualifying for the final. In addition, he won the silver medal at the 2015 Summer Universiade and two medals at the 2013 World Youth Championships. In the hammer he won the silver at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
