She has also directed music videos for artists such as Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Michael Jackson. Lambert was born in Helena, Arkansas in 1951. She attended the University of Southern California, where she earned a degree in film production. Lambert began her career in the late 1970s, directing music videos for artists such as Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Michael Jackson. She made her feature film debut in 1983 with the horror film Siesta. She followed this up with the 1989 horror film Pet Sematary, which was a box office success. In the 1990s, Lambert directed the films Urban Legend, The In Crowd, and All I Want for Christmas. She also directed the television movie The Christmas List. In recent years, Lambert has directed episodes of the television series The L Word, Grey's Anatomy, and Private Practice. Lambert is married to producer and director Bruce Davey. They have two children.
