Martijn Westerholt is a Dutch musician, composer, and producer. He is best known as the keyboardist and one of the founding members of the Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation. He is also the founder of the record label, My Favorite Robot Records. Martijn was born on 30 March 1979 in Zwolle, Netherlands. He has a younger brother, Robert Westerholt, who is also a musician and the guitarist of Within Temptation. Martijn started playing the piano at the age of six and was trained in classical music. He was also trained in jazz and pop music. He joined the band Within Temptation in 1996 and has been a part of the band ever since. Martijn has composed and produced music for various films, television shows, and video games. He has also composed music for the Dutch musicals, “The Little Mermaid” and “The Lion King”. Martijn is married to singer Sharon den Adel, the lead singer of Within Temptation. The couple has two children together. Martijn has an estimated net worth of $10 million.
