Huff was drafted in the 4th round during phase four in the 2020 XFL Draft by the Houston Roughnecks.

2018

On January 10, 2018, Huff signed a reserve/future contract with the Dallas Cowboys. He was waived/injured on September 1, 2018 and was placed on injured reserve. On March 29, 2019, the Cowboys released Huff.

2017

Huff signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on March 16, 2017. He was waived on July 6, 2017.

On July 30, 2017, Huff signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was waived on September 2, 2017.

It was announced that Huff would be suspended for the first game of the 2016 season due to violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. On September 2, 2016, Huff was released by the Titans as part of final roster cuts.

The Tennessee Titans selected Huff in the fourth round, with the 122nd overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. One of the reasons the Titans selected Huff is because he is versatile, and can play at either the safety position or at cornerback. In Week 14, Huff recorded his first interception against Eli Manning and the New York Giants, which he returned for a 23-yard touchdown.

Huff attended the University of Wyoming for four years, from 2010 to 2013. He became a full-time starter in his sophomore year, and was the team captain for the Wyoming Cowboys in 2013. He was named to the 2013 All-Mountain West Conference Second Team following the season in which he started all 12 games, and tallied a total of 127 tackles, one forced fumble, two fumbles recovered, six pass deflections, and two pass deflections.
