Her work has been translated into several languages, including English, French, German, and Spanish. Marica Beligan has won several awards for her writing, including the Prix de la Fondation des Lettres Belges in 1975, the Prix de la Fondation des Lettres Belges in 1977, and the Prix de la Fondation des Lettres Belges in 1980.
