Ludo Peeters is a Belgian former professional road bicycle racer. He was born on 9 August 1953 in Hoogstraten, Belgium. He was a professional cyclist from 1976 to 1989. He won the Tour of Flanders in 1983 and the Amstel Gold Race in 1984. He also won the Belgian National Road Race Championships in 1983 and 1984. Peeters was a successful one-day racer, winning the Tour of Flanders in 1983 and the Amstel Gold Race in 1984. He also won the Belgian National Road Race Championships in 1983 and 1984. He was a member of the Belgian team that won the team time trial at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Peeters retired from professional cycling in 1989. He is currently a cycling commentator for the Belgian television station VRT. He is also a cycling coach and has coached several professional cyclists, including Tom Boonen and Philippe Gilbert.
