The company quickly became a success, and by the 1970s, it had become a household name. The company expanded to include home furnishings, wallpaper, and other products. Laura Ashley was known for her romantic, feminine designs, which often featured floral prints and pastel colors. She was also known for her commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Laura Ashley died in 1985 at the age of 60. Her legacy lives on in the Laura Ashley brand, which is still in operation today.
