Lars-Erik Berenett is a Swedish actor, writer, and soundtrack composer. He is best known for his roles in the films The Brothers Lionheart (1977), The Simple-Minded Murderer (1982), and The Journey to Melonia (1989). He has also written and composed music for several films, including The Brothers Lionheart and The Journey to Melonia. Berenett was born on 23 December 1942 in Skellefteå, Västerbottens län, Sweden. He studied at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm and graduated in 1966. He has since appeared in numerous films and television series, including the Swedish television series Rederiet (1992-1994). Berenett has been married to actress and singer Lena Nyman since 1967.
