Larry Bishop is an American actor, writer, and director. He is best known for his roles in the films Hells Angels on Wheels (1967), The Savage Seven (1968), and The Hard Ride (1971). He is the son of comedian Joey Bishop and the brother of singer-songwriter and actor Jimmy Bishop. Bishop began his career as an actor in the 1960s, appearing in several television series and films. He made his feature film debut in the 1967 biker film Hells Angels on Wheels. He went on to appear in several other biker films, including The Savage Seven (1968) and The Hard Ride (1971). In the 1970s, Bishop began writing and directing films. His first film as a director was the 1972 western The Soul of Nigger Charley. He went on to direct several other films, including the 1975 western The White Buffalo and the 1978 comedy-drama American Hot Wax. Bishop has also appeared in several television series, including The Wild Wild West, The High Chaparral, and The Rockford Files. He has also appeared in several films, including The Delta Force (1986), The Quick and the Dead (1995), and The Big Lebowski (1998).
