Kuan Bi-ling is a Taiwanese politician who has served as the Minister of the Mainland Affairs Council since 2016. She was born on 9 December 1956 in Fengyuan District, Taiwan. Kuan Bi-ling graduated from the National Taiwan University with a degree in law in 1979. She then went on to pursue a master's degree in public administration from the National Chengchi University in 1985. Kuan Bi-ling began her political career in 1989 when she was appointed as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Executive Yuan. She then served as the Deputy Minister of the Mainland Affairs Council from 1993 to 1996. Kuan Bi-ling was appointed as the Minister of the Mainland Affairs Council in 2016. She is responsible for overseeing cross-strait relations between Taiwan and mainland China. Kuan Bi-ling is married and has two children. Her net worth is estimated to be around $1 million.
