2019

Taylor was fired by Scottsdale Unified School District on May 30, 2019 over allegation of recruiting and reports of violating the Arizona Interscholastic Associations rules over mandatory summer training programs. With community backing and lack of evidence, Taylor was offered his former position back on June 10th and was accepted the following day. He continued to coach the next season with a 6-4 record and unexpectedly resigned once the season was over.

2018

In 2018, Taylor became the head coach for Arcadia High School in Phoenix, Arizona. The team, which was on a 16-game losing streak when Taylor took charge, guided the team to a 6-4 season.

2015

On January 15, 2015, the Denver Broncos signed Taylor to a reserve/future contract for the 2015 season. He was waived on April 23, 2015.

2014

He was released on August 30, 2014 and signed to the team's practice squad the next day. He was promoted to the active roster on September 20. He was released on September 23 and re-signed to the practice squad the next day. He was waived from the practice squad on October 7.

On October 9, 2014, the Dallas Cowboys signed Taylor to their practice squad. He was released on November 30 to make room for WR Chris Boyd.

2013
