After her tenure with Daniels, Kacee's debut short film as writer/director, "CROSSROADS", premiered in the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.

While working with Daniels -Butler, Kacee was part of the production team for "The Paperboy", starring Nicole Kidman and Matthew McConaughey, "Lee Daniels' The Butler", starring Oprah Winfrey and Forest Whitaker and the record breaking television series Empire (2015) on FOX starring Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard. Thoroughly impressed with Kacee, the shows creator and Oscar Nominee Lee Daniels, offered her an Executive Assistant position where she worked side by side with Daniels, shadowing, assisting and managing affairs for his company, Lee Daniels Entertainment.
