Justin Longmuir is an Australian rules footballer who currently plays for the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was born on 21 January 1981 in Perth, Western Australia. Longmuir played junior football for the East Fremantle Football Club before being drafted by the Fremantle Dockers in the 1999 AFL Draft. He made his debut in 2000 and went on to play a total of 97 games for the Dockers before retiring in 2007. Longmuir was appointed as the senior coach of the East Fremantle Football Club in 2013 and led the team to a premiership in 2015. In 2017, he was appointed as an assistant coach at the Fremantle Dockers and was promoted to senior coach in 2019. Longmuir is married to his wife, Sarah, and they have two children together. 2019

In September 2019, after nine years as an assistant coach with both West Coast and Collingwood, Longmuir was officially installed at his former club Fremantle as senior coach.

2011

Longmuir was appointed as forward coach of the West Coast Eagles at the end of the 2011 season, replacing Peter Sumich who switched to Longmuir's former club, Fremantle.

2007

Longmuir's career was put on hold as he battled a degenerative knee injury, and eventually conceded his retirement from AFL on 31 October 2007 due to the knee injury, which saw him play just 18 games in his last 2 years.

2005

He played 21 of the 22 games in 2005 and led the club in hard ball gets and finished third in the club for contested marks and overall marks. The most memorable moment in 2005 was his after-the-siren goal to snatch victory over St Kilda in round 21.
