Jürgen Möllemann was a German politician and actor. He was a member of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) and served as the Minister of Economics and Technology in the government of Chancellor Helmut Kohl from 1982 to 1984. He was also a member of the Bundestag from 1972 to 1998. Möllemann was born in Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. He studied law at the University of Munich and graduated in 1971. He then worked as a lawyer in Augsburg. In 1972, Möllemann was elected to the Bundestag as a member of the FDP. He served as the Minister of Economics and Technology from 1982 to 1984. He was also the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs from 1984 to 1988. In 1998, Möllemann resigned from the Bundestag and left politics. He then pursued a career in acting, appearing in several films and television shows. Möllemann died in a paragliding accident in 2002. He was 56 years old.
