Josh Henderson is an American actor, model, and singer. He is best known for his roles as John Ross Ewing III in the TNT revival of Dallas, and as Austin McCann in Desperate Housewives. He has also appeared in films such as Step Up, The Girl Next Door, and The Jerk Theory.
Henderson was born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended Union High School in Tulsa, where he was a member of the school's varsity basketball team. He then attended the University of Oklahoma, where he studied business.
Henderson began his career as a model, appearing in campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch, Tommy Hilfiger, and Calvin Klein. He then made his acting debut in the 2004 film Step Up. He went on to appear in films such as The Girl Next Door, The Jerk Theory, and The Wedding Ringer.
In 2012, Henderson was cast as John Ross Ewing III in the TNT revival of Dallas. He starred in the series for three seasons, until its cancellation in 2014. He then went on to appear in the ABC series Desperate Housewives, playing the role of Austin McCann.
In addition to acting, Henderson is also a singer. He released his debut single, "Sleepwalking," in 2011. He has also released several other singles, including "Dreams," "Falling," and "The Way You Love Me."
