Jordi Bertomeu is a Spanish businessman and the current President, Chairman, and CEO of Euroleague Basketball Company. He was born on 15 January, 1959 in Barcelona, Spain. Bertomeu began his career in the sports industry in 1989, when he joined the Spanish Basketball Federation as the Director of International Relations. In 1995, he was appointed as the General Manager of the Spanish Basketball League. In 2000, he was appointed as the President of the Spanish Basketball League. In 2001, Bertomeu was appointed as the President of Euroleague Basketball Company, a position he still holds today. Under his leadership, Euroleague Basketball has become one of the most successful and profitable sports leagues in Europe. Bertomeu has also served as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) since 2002. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Olympic Committee. As of 2021, Jordi Bertomeu's net worth is estimated to be around $10 million.
