John Wroblewski is an American professional ice hockey coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League (AHL). Wroblewski was born on May 26, 1981 in Neenah, Wisconsin. He attended Neenah High School, where he was a three-time letter winner in hockey. He then attended the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, where he played four seasons of college hockey. Wroblewski began his coaching career in 2006 as an assistant coach with the USHL's Green Bay Gamblers. He then served as an assistant coach with the AHL's Chicago Wolves from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, he was named the head coach of the USHL's Indiana Ice, where he coached for two seasons. In 2011, Wroblewski was named the head coach of the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, a position he still holds. He has led the Penguins to the Calder Cup Finals in 2014 and 2018.
