Jeff Lieberman is an American filmmaker, writer, and producer. He is best known for his cult classic horror films Squirm (1976) and Blue Sunshine (1978). He has also directed and produced several television shows, including the Emmy-nominated series, "The Hitchhiker". Lieberman was born in Brooklyn, New York, and attended the University of Michigan, where he studied film and television. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles and began working in the film industry. In 1976, Lieberman wrote, directed, and produced his first feature film, Squirm, which became a cult classic. He followed this up with Blue Sunshine in 1978, which was also a cult hit. In the 1980s, Lieberman wrote and directed several television movies, including the Emmy-nominated The Hitchhiker. He also wrote and directed the horror film Remote Control (1988). In the 1990s, Lieberman wrote and directed the horror film Satan's Little Helper (2004). He also wrote and directed the horror-comedy film Drillbit Taylor (2008). Lieberman has also written and directed several short films, including the award-winning short film, "The Last Supper".
