He is best known for his work with the French rock band Téléphone, which he joined in 1976. He has also released several solo albums and collaborated with other artists. Savelli began playing guitar at the age of 12 and soon joined his first band. He studied music at the Conservatoire de Mulhouse and then moved to Paris in 1976 to pursue a career in music. He joined Téléphone in 1976 and remained with the band until their breakup in 1986. During his time with the band, they released four studio albums and several singles. Savelli has also released several solo albums, including "L'Esprit de l'Aventure" (1987), "L'Esprit de l'Aventure II" (1989), and "L'Esprit de l'Aventure III" (1991). He has also collaborated with other artists, including French singer-songwriter Alain Bashung and French rock band Noir Désir. Savelli is currently 68 years old.
