He worked as a music producer and was responsible for the success of several French singers, including Sheila, Johnny Hallyday, and C.Jérôme. In the 1980s, Azoulay began working in television. He wrote and produced the popular French television series "Hélène et les Garçons" and "Premiers Baisers". He also wrote and produced the television movie "La Boum 2". In 1985, Azoulay founded the production company AB Productions. The company has produced several successful television series, including "La Famille Bélier", "La Petite Maison dans la Prairie", and "Les Filles d'à Côté". Azoulay has won several awards for his work in television, including the Prix de la Meilleure Série Télévisée at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival in 1989.
