James Kennedy

His first book 'Noise Damage - My Life as a Rock'n'Roll Underdog', a 'part memoir, part expose of the music worlds murky underbelly' was published on October 18th 2020.

In 2010 Kennedy set up Konic Records, an independent record company and music publisher with a network of partner companies around the world. Having represented many artists since then and having had a good track record with Sync, Konic Records now exclusively represents Kennedy's back catalog. Lyrical themes throughout Kennedy's work include overt political and social commentary, death, meaning, love, vice and empowerment. He is an energetic and captivating performer, having toured relentlessly through many countries over the years and is an active user of social media where he has a large following and millions of song streams. James has also published articles on a range of subjects including the music industry, mental health, politics and gun control and regularly gives talks at events on a variety of issues including Hearing Health and current affairs.

James Kennedy is a Singer Songwriter, multi instrumentalist, Producer and author from South Wales, UK. Formerly the singer and guitarist in the political Alternative Rock band 'Kyshera', Kennedy has been releasing music since 2002 as both a band member and as a solo artist. With a wildly eclectic back catalog including noise music, acoustic, Prog rock, grunge, MOR, experimental electronic and orchestral music, Kennedy is a unique figure on the modern music scene. Almost all of the instruments on his 7 albums as well as all of the production, has been performed by Kennedy - no small achievement considering his 40 percent hearing loss due to childhood ear surgery.
