James Blakeley was a British film editor and production manager. He began his career in the 1930s, working as an assistant editor on films such as The Private Life of Henry VIII (1933) and The Scarlet Pimpernel (1934). He went on to become a production manager on films such as The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) and The Guns of Navarone (1961). He was also an editor on films such as The Ipcress File (1965) and The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (1965). He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Film Editing for The Spy Who Came in from the Cold. He died in London in 1985.
