In 2017, Manoux was convicted of two counts of mischief for operating a hidden camera in the Toronto condo he sublet to two women. Justice Rebecca Shamai said he "acted willfully" in violating the privacy of his tenants.

In 2015, Manoux appeared in Canadian court after two people staying in his condo discovered a home security camera and approached police. On July 30, 2015, the specific charge of voyeurism against him was dropped.

He voiced Scrappy Rex in Scooby-Doo, as well as being a voice double for David Spade and Steve Buscemi. Manoux was also a contestant on Jeopardy!, Family Feud, and Wheel of Fortune.
