Harold Lederman is an American boxing judge and commentator. He is best known for his work as a judge for HBO World Championship Boxing and Boxing After Dark. He has been a judge for over 500 world title fights. Lederman was born in the Bronx, New York, on January 26, 1940. He attended the City College of New York, where he earned a degree in accounting. After college, he worked as an accountant for a few years before becoming a boxing judge in the late 1960s. Lederman has been a judge for over 500 world title fights, including the first fight between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier in 1971. He has also been a judge for the fights between Sugar Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran, Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. In addition to his work as a judge, Lederman has also been a commentator for HBO World Championship Boxing and Boxing After Dark. He has also been a boxing analyst for ESPN and Showtime.
