György Kárpáti is a Hungarian water polo player who was born on 3 July, 1933 in Budapest, Hungary. He is 88 years old. Kárpáti began his career in water polo in the 1950s, playing for the Hungarian national team. He was part of the team that won the gold medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia. He also won a silver medal at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, Italy. Kárpáti was a member of the Hungarian national team for over a decade, and was part of the team that won the World Championship in 1973. He also won the European Championship in 1971 and 1975. Kárpáti retired from water polo in 1976 and has since been inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame. Kárpáti's net worth is not publicly available.
