Gwyn Evans is a former Welsh rugby union player who played for the Welsh national team from 1979 to 1987. He was born on 6 September 1957 in Maesteg, Wales. Gwyn Evans was a powerful and aggressive player who was known for his hard tackling and strong running. He was a member of the Welsh team that won the Grand Slam in 1979 and was part of the team that won the Five Nations Championship in 1983. Gwyn Evans played for the Welsh club side Bridgend RFC and was part of the team that won the Welsh Cup in 1983. He also played for the Barbarians and was part of the team that won the Hong Kong Sevens in 1984. Gwyn Evans retired from rugby in 1987 and went on to become a successful businessman. He is currently the managing director of a property development company in Wales. Gwyn Evans is married to his wife, Helen, and they have two children. He is 63 years old.
