He is best known for his work in the English dubs of Japanese anime, such as the roles of Ryu in Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie, and Kintaro Oe in Golden Boy. He has also provided voices for video games, such as the role of Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid series. Snegoff was born on June 22, 1955 in Santa Monica, California. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied theater and film. Snegoff began his career in the entertainment industry in the late 1970s, working as a dialogue director and voice actor for English dubs of Japanese anime. He has since provided voices for numerous anime series, including Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie, Golden Boy, and Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. He has also provided voices for video games, such as the role of Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid series. Snegoff has also written and directed several films, including the short film The Last Day of Summer (2006).
