Chaisson began his musical career in the late 1970s, playing in various bands in the Toronto area. In 1983, he joined the band Badlands, which was formed by former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee. The band released two albums, Badlands (1989) and Voodoo Highway (1991), before disbanding in 1993. Chaisson has also played with other bands, including the Canadian rock band Harem Scarem, and has released several solo albums. He has also worked as a session musician, playing on albums by artists such as Alice Cooper, Lita Ford, and John Waite. Chaisson is currently living in Los Angeles, California.
