Frank Townsend (rugby league) was born in 1925 in Wakefield, England. He was a professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s and 1960s. He played at club level for Wakefield Trinity (Heritage № 645), as a Prop, i.e. number 8 or 10, during the era of contested scrums. Frank Townsend (rugby league) died aged 84 in 2009.
