Eva Gabor was a Hungarian-born American actress, singer, and socialite. She was best known for her role as Lisa Douglas, the wife of Eddie Albert's character, on the 1960s television sitcom Green Acres. She was also known for her roles in the films The Rescuers and The Aristocats. Gabor was born on February 11, 1919, in Budapest, Hungary. She was the youngest of three daughters of Vilmos Gabor, a soldier, and Jolie Gabor, a jeweler. She began her acting career in Vienna at the age of 17, and later moved to Paris to pursue her career. In 1951, Gabor moved to the United States and began appearing in films and television shows. She made her film debut in 1952 in the musical Lovely to Look At. She went on to appear in numerous films, including The Rescuers (1977) and The Aristocats (1970). Gabor also appeared in numerous television shows, including The Red Skelton Show, The Lucy Show, and The Love Boat. She was also a regular on the sitcom Green Acres, which ran from 1965 to 1971. Gabor was married five times and had one daughter, Francesca Hilton, from her marriage to hotelier Conrad Hilton. She died on July 4, 1995, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 76.
